The Aether Mattress consists of three separate latex layers: a 5cm comfort top (typically Soft), a 10cm middle layer divided into 7 ergonomic zones, and a 5cm base (typically Firm). Each layer is removable and replaceable independently — the system adapts to you over time without ever replacing the whole mattress.

In a double bed, the left and right halves are configured completely independently. You and your partner each choose your own firmness profile per zone. The two halves lie next to each other inside the cover — no ridge, no gap. A 55kg side sleeper and a 95kg back sleeper can both sleep perfectly in the same bed.

Natural latex maintains its ergonomic properties for 15+ years under normal use — significantly longer than synthetic foam (5–8 years) or spring mattresses (7–10 years). The modular design means individual layers are replaced as needed rather than the entire system.

Yes. Our latex is 100% Hevea Brasiliensis, certified by the Öko-Umweltinstitut in Cologne and carrying full GOLS certification. No synthetic fillers, no petroleum derivatives, no chemical additives. Verified by independent third-party testing.

Yes. Natural latex has a mild natural scent which dissipates within a few days of unpacking. There are no VOC off-gases, no flame retardant chemicals, no formaldehyde and no petrochemical foams. All textiles carry OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification.

After 3–4 weeks of sleeping on your new system, we offer one free zone replacement. This might mean swapping a shoulder zone from S to XS, or adjusting the lumbar zone. It takes approximately 20 minutes and is included in the pilot price.

Our Fine-Tuning Guarantee exists precisely to ensure satisfaction. If after the fine-tuning session you are still not experiencing significantly better sleep, we will work with you individually. Because the system is custom-made, we do not offer returns — but we do offer the commitment that we will not stop until your sleep is genuinely better.
